is a result of a collaboration between Kateha and Hanna Tunemar. – Inspiration for the rug came from nature, particularly the lowland landscape that I grew up in. The pattern is extremely graphic but is also an interpretation of the countryside and fields seen from above. I also wanted to work with different shades of mottled grey in the woven wool. They remind me of darkness, with shadows and structures in different black and white graphic etchings. They convey an interesting atmosphere and they inspired me when I was working on the rugs and saw the different mottled greys together. I wanted to lift that atmosphere from the rug into the room.
