Lotta Johansson born in 1973 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in product design from the Linneaus University in Pukeberg, Sweden. She works today as an interior designer. Lotta is attracted by patterns and structures and likes to combine this in textile materials.
The nature and the surroundings inspire Lotta. When doing long walks in the Swedish forests she often finds visual impressions and moods, that she can appropriate into her design. She prefers to work with natural materials.
When Lotta designs a rug her ambition is for it to be both easily accomodated and that it can interact with the interior at hand. To create a peaceful setting. The inspiration for Glänta is a small glade in the forest at springtime, with sunlight, moss and plentiful of anemones.
