Hanna Tunemar was born in Linköping in 1986 and grew up on a farm outside Vadstena, Sweden. She studied graphic design at Beckmans College of Design and packaging design at Nackademin university, both in Stockholm, and continued to study product design at Central Saint Martins in London. In 2014 she graduated in product design from Beckmans College of Design, Stockholm. Today she works with different projects in the fields of interior design, graphic design, product design and exhibitions, among them at the Royal Stockholm Castle and at Svenskt Tenn.

Hanna gets her inspiration and creativity from nature. When she is walking in the forest thoughts and ideas come to her in a meditative way from out of nowhere, and turn into sources to build her work from. She is also inspired when visiting flea markets, when involved in creative discussions among friends and in meetings with new materials/techniques.

Hanna Tunemar was in 2014 awarded the Svenskt Tenn Design Prize.
